In August of 2019, Memphis Christian rockers Skillet released their 10th studio album - Victorious. The album is filled with 12 powerful new songs that range from fist-pumping anthem rockers to a few slower mid-tempo tunes that grab you with their heartfelt and uplifting lyrics. It’s a testament to what makes the Grammy nominated band such a huge force in the music world.
The band, consisting of John Cooper (vocals/bass), Korey Cooper (rhythm guitar), Jen Ledger (drums, vocals) and Seth Morrison (guitar), took to the road for the Victorious Sky Tour with Alter Bridge and Dirty Honey. I was really looking forward to checking this tour out, especially since I had not had the chance to see Skillet live. Based on the amazing catalog the band built over the past 23 years, I couldn’t wait to take in what they had to offer in the form of a live show. Let me tell you that Skillet did not disappoint.
