Man, where to begin? I guess 2003, as that was the year my favorite band released The Impossibility of Reason. It would also be the first tour that I would witness the power of Chimaira live. TIOR would deliver ferocious tracks like "Power Trip", "Pure Hatred" and "The Dehumanizing Process", all of which would remain staples in the band's set lists throughout the years. It would also feature my all-time favorite instrumental, "Implements of Destruction", in its 10 minutes of musical glory.
Fast forward 20 years, as the band would celebrate the album by playing 2 hometown shows at The Agora in Cleveland, Ohio. Both nights would find the Kings of Cleveland serving up TIOR in its entirety, followed by a mix of other songs from their stellar collection. These were shows not to be missed. So, I got tickets, and my wife and fur babies took care of the trip as an early birthday present.
